New Image Release for “Night” series – “Seaweed, Maine”

I’ve just put the finishing touches on a new photograph that I have been working on from my recent trip to Lubec, Maine.  The image is called “Seaweed, Maine“.

Since our workshop home base was located on the Bay of Fundy, I felt compelled to create an image of the seaweed and rock formations that are revealed by the tidal recessions each day.  The tidal changes are every 8 hours and the difference in water level between high tide and low tide is quite dramatic and can be as much as 48 feet.

Before leaving the beautiful landscape of Lubec, I went exploring the bay floor.  This is what I found.
